The Team-Based Learning Online Certification Series is a comprehensive train-the-trainer certification program that promotes learner’s understanding and application of knowledge and skills using Team-Based Learning (TBL). The program is meant for educators who are either new to Team-Based Learning or educators who want to learn, develop and implement innovative TBL techniques into their curriculum to enhance their teaching and improve
student outcomes.

We offer a five-series faculty development certification program to train educators on all elements of developing an effective TBL module. The five workshops provided in the series are:

Who is it for? 

New TBL educators who are seeking professional development in the fundamental areas of TBL

Experienced TBL educators who want to learn about the best practices of Team-Based Learning 

Institutions looking to scale the use of Team-Based Learning classes in multiple sections, campuses, and online platforms and wanting to train their faculties

Format

These workshops are delivered in an online synchronous modality using the Team-Based Learning process of prework, readiness assurance process and application exercises. All workshops are three hours in duration. The participants will receive 15 contact hours across 2.5 weeks
