Develop Team-Based Learning domain knowledge to enhance your teaching and improve student outcomes
Brought to you by InteDashboard in collaboration with the Team Based Learning Collaborative
The Team-Based Learning Fundamentals Series is a comprehensive introduction to team-based learning (TBL). The program is meant for educators who are either new to TBL or who want to focus on fundamental TBL techniques and apply to their own teaching and curriculum. Upon successful completion of this five workshop series, participants will receive the Knowledge of the Fundamentals of TBL Certificate from the Team-Based Learning Collaborative (TBLC).
We offer a five-series faculty development certification program to train educators on all elements of developing an effective TBL module. The five workshops provided in the series are:
Fundamental Principles and Practices of TBL
Creating an Effective TBL Module
Evaluating Multiple Choice Questions for Readiness Assurance Tests and Application Activities
Improving Facilitation Skills for a TBL Classroom
Peer Feedback and Evaluation
Who is it for?
All the five workshops will be delivered using TBL format, in an online synchronous modality using InteDashboard and Zoom video conferencing tool. All workshops will be three hours in duration. Participants will receive short readings and assignments to complete before each workshop.
